WELCOME TO ÖVEDS POLO CLUB

We are a polo club in the south of Sweden that loves to have fun and play polo together with focus on horsemanship.

THE CLUB

We have a polo field at the club, additionally we have an outdoor arena and wooden horse to practise your hitting skills. We also have a gallop loop and endless riding/hiking out opportunities.

Öveds Polo Club is a small club that is family oriented where everyone is welcome.

The Polo club is located close to Öveds Kloster, 7km outside of Sjöbo.

THE POLO PONIES

Because we have high focus and knowledge on horsemanship, we have well trained and safe polo ponies at the club. We arrange polo introduction to beginners, we have group sessions, instructional chukkas and club Chukkas for the more experienced.

THE TRAINERS

The friendly and helpful trainers at the club will enable your development regardless if you are a beginner or advanced rider/polo player.

Our senior trainer Jack Shirley, is a third-generation horseman from US, and he grow up with polo from childhood, and have extensive knowledge, and he will train the more experienced players.
